Frequently asked questions
Which ICH storage conditions can a stability chamber run?
Our chambers are designed for the ICH Q1A(R2) storage conditions: 25 °C / 60% RH, 30 °C / 65% RH, 30 °C / 75% RH and 40 °C / 75% RH, and for semi-permeable containers 25 °C / 40% RH, 30 °C / 35% RH and 40 °C / NMT 25% RH. Photo stability chambers are designed for ICH Q1B.
What is the difference between reach-in, walk-in and photostability chambers?
Reach-in chambers are floor-standing or bench-mounted units for standard studies. Walk-in chambers are room-sized spaces for large-batch or high-volume studies beyond reach-in capacity. Photo stability chambers add controlled UV and visible light exposure alongside temperature and humidity control.
What qualification and validation documents are supplied?
Each chamber comes with a complete document package: URS support, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, SOP support, operating manuals, material of construction, calibration and test certificates, and technical notes where required.
What is the typical lead time?
Lead time depends on the chamber type, capacity and any customization, and typically ranges from 4 to 12 weeks. The exact timeline is confirmed in your quotation.
Do you provide installation and service?
Yes, we provide installation, commissioning and service wherever you are.
Can a chamber be built to our capacity or room requirements?
Capacities, configurations and custom builds beyond the listed types are available, including fully custom systems built to your facility’s specification. Contact our team with your requirement.
